Kelum de Silva joins Softlogic Capital Board

Softlogic Capital PLC has appointed Kalum de Silva to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

De Silva is an investor, strategist, and board advisor with over 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A, and growth advisory across the financial services sector. His career spans leadership roles in Australia and South Asia, including serving as a Partner at an Australian private equity firm with A$ 230 million in Funds Under Management (FUM) and as a Director at a leading M&A advisory firm, where he specialised in capital structuring and value creation initiatives.

He currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC and Asiri Surgical Hospital PLC. De Silva is also the Founding President of the Sri Lanka and Australia Chamber of Commerce registered in Australia and co-founder of the Australasian Academy, a Sri Lankan higher education institute. As President of the Sri Lanka and Australia Chamber of Commerce, de Silva plays a strategic role in fostering bilateral trade and investment.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. De Silva is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors.
