KPMG webinar on Directors’ Liability and Tax Compliance Risks on Thursday

KPMG Sri Lanka will conduct a webinar titled “Directors’ Liability in Sri Lanka – Understanding Tax Risks” on 22 January from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.

The session will help company directors gain clarity on their legal duties, responsibilities, and personal exposure under relevant statutes, especially in view of recent amendments to the Companies Act. The speakers will further outline key risk mitigation measures to support better governance and compliance.

The webinar will feature a keynote address by Dr. K. Kanag-Isvaran, President’s Counsel, followed by presentations from KPMG Sri Lanka Principal – Head of Tax and Regulatory Suresh R. I. Perera, and Principal – Tax and Regulatory Rifka Ziyard.
