The KPMG Sri Lanka Academy will hold the Friday Mid-Afternoon Chat to discuss the ‘Social Security Contribution Levy Act No. 25 of 2022’ on 7 October at 3 p.m.

Social Security Contribution Levy Act No. 25 of 2022 was certified by the Speaker on 20 September and the 2.5% tax on turnover is effective from 1 October 2022.

This program will enlighten the participants in relation to the details with regard to registration for Social Security Contribution Levy (SSCL), liability for SSCL including the calculation and exemptions. Further, an in-depth analysis will be carried out covering many practical aspects involving various industries.
