Delmege Insurance Brokers a subsidiary of the Delmege Group has been recognised at the Global Insurance Excellence Awards 2025 for the Asia and MENA Region, held in Goa, India and organised by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance.
Delmege Insurance Brokers Chief Operating Officer Chathura Kehelpannala, was honoured with the title of Best Health Insurance Adviser, surpassing top contenders from across the region. He was also recognised as the first runner up in the Property Insurance category, further cementing his reputation as one of the region’s most respected professionals in the field.
Kehelpannala said: “It is an incredible honor to be recognised on such a prominent platform, not only for myself but also for Sri Lanka and Delmege. This award reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to excellence, client trust, and innovation in insurance advisory. This international recognition add to Kehelpannala’s earlier accolade adds to his earlier recognition at the Sri Lanka Insurance Brokers Association Awards 2024, where he received the Niranjan Nagendra Memorial Award for Insurance Broker Professional of the Year.
Further strengthening this success, Delmege Insurance Brokers was ranked the Number one company in the Overall Insurance Brokering Business for both 2023 and 2024, as per the Global and Local Insurance Outlook published by the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL).
