Ceylinco Life hosts nearly 1,000 ‘Family Savari’ winners to a day at Pearl Bay

Nearly 1,000 adults and children converged recently on Pearl Bay – one of Sri Lanka’s most popular theme parks – for a day-long celebration of family fun courtesy of the country’s life insurance market leader Ceylinco Life.

With the theme park booked exclusively for them, these families from different parts of Sri Lanka, all of them policyholders of Ceylinco Life and winners of the company’s ‘Family Savari’ mega promotion, spent a memorable day enjoying the rides, slides and other attractions of the water park area at Pearl Bay.

The group, comprising of 250 Ceylinco Life policyholders and their families, were joined by the Family Savari Brand Ambassadors – the popular actor Roshan Ranawana, his wife Kushlani and their son Mineth.

Ceylinco Life Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer Samitha Hemachandra said the Family Savari promotion has been responsible for bringing together many thousands of Ceylinco Life policyholder families at similar excursions and overseas holidays, for the past 18 years. “This is by far the biggest and most generous promotion of its kind in Sri Lanka’s life insurance industry,” he said, emphasising that going beyond simply rewarding policyholders, Family Savari had helped build lasting ties between people from diverse backgrounds and promoted understanding and unity.

Besides the 250 policyholders that won a day-long visit to Peal Bay, five Ceylinco Life policyholder families won an all-expenses-paid holiday to China and another 10 families a holiday in Malaysia. These tours will take place in May and June respectively. In all, 265 Ceylinco Life policyholders comprising of 1,060 individuals, have been selected as winners of the 18th edition of ‘Family Savari’.
