The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has renewed its partnership recently as the Platinum Partner of CFA Society Sri Lanka (CFASSL) for the 9th consecutive year as the two organisations continue to uphold a shared commitment to promoting financial literacy and professional excellence within the Sri Lankan investment industry and its stakeholders.

The sponsorship was presented soon after the ringing of the ceremonial market opening bell of the CSE to commemorate the 25th anniversary of CFA Society Sri Lanka.

The renewed partnership will enable several key initiatives of CFA Society Sri Lanka that will occur over the course of 2026. These flagship events include the Capital Market Awards 2026 which will recognise financial and professional excellence in the local capital market, the CFA Charter Awards Ceremony and Annual Oration 2026 which shall recognise the merit of Sri Lanka’s newest Charter-holders, and the local stage of the CFA Institute Research Challenge which conclude its 20th consecutive edition this year. The Society will also conduct seminars and training workshops aimed at charter-holders, investors and corporates over the course of the year with an aim to uphold rigorous ethical and professional standards and promote excellence in the Sri Lankan finance and investment sector.
