Ayodhya Iddawela Perera joins Pan Asia Bank Board

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC has appointed Ayodhya Iddawela Perera to its Board as a Non-Executive Independent Director.

With over 36 years of service in the banking industry—both locally and internationally, Perera stands out as one of the most accomplished professionals in Sri Lanka’s banking industry. She most recently served as the Managing Director of Sampath Bank PLC from July 2023 to September 2025.

Perera holds a Master of Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom. She also has completed her banking studies up to the associateship level, and in recognition of her service to the industry, she was awarded the Senior Fellowship by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.

In addition to her executive role, she served on several boards, including Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd, Lanka Pay Ltd., National Credit Guarantee Institution Ltd., Sampath Centre Ltd., the Sri Lanka Bankers’ Association, and the Governing Board of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. Her career stands as a testament to consistent leadership, industry knowledge, and a deep commitment to the growth of Sri Lanka’s banking sector, the bank said.
