CBSL Govenor Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe launches APB Sri Lanka's new website

The Association of Professional Bankers (APB) Sri Lanka recently held its 34th anniversary convention titled “Forward Gear: Road to Economic Sustainability.” Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe was the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote. Dr. Weerasinghe was also presented with the APB Sri Lanka Lifetime Achievement Award by APB Sri Lanka President B.A.H.S. Preena. The Convention provided insightful discussions, thought-provoking presentations, and valuable insights into the evolving landscape of banking and finance. It discussed Top 10 banking trends in 2024; AI and automation in banking; Green financing: The Road Ahead for Sri Lanka Banks; Diversifying access to digital finance; and Engaging employees to deliver superior customer service. A CEO Forum on industry challenges was also held as part of the Convention
