Asia Asset Finance PLC celebrated its 56th anniversary on 23 September 2026 in style, bringing employees and leadership together to commemorate a journey defined by resilience, customer trust and progress.
Established in 1970, the company has grown from its early beginnings into an established licensed finance institution serving communities across Sri Lanka. Its offerings include gold loans, leasing, fixed deposits, and mortgage financing and digital financial solutions, supporting individuals, families and businesses at different stages of their financial journeys.
The company’s growth is underpinned by its affiliation with Muthoot Finance and the wider Muthoot Group, a Fitch A+(lka) rating with Stable Outlook, and an expanding islandwide branch network that reached its 125th branch in 2026. These strengths reflect a continuing focus on financial stability, accessibility and customer confidence.
Female empowerment remains central to the company’s approach to sustainable growth. Asia Asset Finance continues to encourage women’s participation and leadership across its operations, while supporting community initiatives that help create opportunities for women and young people. The recent opening of its Uragasmanhandiya branch, led by female employees, offered a visible expression of this commitment.
Another important development has been the appointment of respected former Sri Lankan cricketer Roshan Mahanama as Brand Ambassador.
