Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd., has strengthened its strategic partnership with MegaPay Ltd., the operator of the well-established Pay&Go payment network to make insurance more accessible in the country.
Since 2012, Pay&Go has earned widespread trust as a pioneer in the local fintech landscape, offering secure, reliable, and convenient payment solutions. Over the past 13 years, Pay&Go has built a strong reputation for simplifying financial transactions across the island through a wide range of user-friendly physical and digital payment channels.
The collaboration between Allianz Lanka and Pay&Go began in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when access to essential services was heavily disrupted. Both organizations united around a single goal, which is to make insurance payments more convenient, accessible, and reliable for people across the country.
Through Pay&Go’s extensive network, Allianz policyholders can now make insurance payments and obtain third-party insurance quickly, securely, and any time of the day. More than 1,000 multilingual self-service kiosks are placed in high-traffic locations such as supermarkets, banks, retail stores, and other popular public areas, offering a fast and simple transaction experience without the need to visit a branch.
This partnership demonstrates the shared commitment of Allianz Lanka and Pay&Go to building a more inclusive and convenient financial ecosystem for every segment of society. By combining expertise with accessibility, both organizations continue to remove barriers and elevate the insurance experience across Sri Lanka.
Pay&Go Managing Director Vardan Aslibekyan said: “At Pay&Go, our role is to promote digital evolution within Sri Lanka—enabling fast, secure, and inclusive access to essential financial and utility services. Our value lies in addressing real challenges across infrastructure, accessibility, and digital inclusion.”
Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd., CEO and Country Manager Prashant Grover said: “At Allianz Lanka, our purpose has always been to simplify the insurance experience and bring convenience to the communities we serve. This partnership with Pay&Go strengthens that commitment. By combining Allianz’s widespread offerings with Pay&Go’s extensive and accessible payments network, we are giving people the freedom and confidence to manage their insurance needs easily and securely.”
Together, Allianz Lanka and Pay&Go will continue to introduce innovative solutions designed to make insurance simpler, more accessible, and truly centered around the people it serves.
