AIA Sri Lanka celebrates performance, passion and purpose

AIA Insurance Lanka hosted its annual Company Conference and awards ceremony under the theme “Rising to the Top”, bringing together its employees for an evening dedicated to recognition of inspiration and celebration of excellence.

Held at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, the Conference was formally inaugurated with a striking curtain raiser that revealed the event’s theme, “Rising to the Top,” symbolising AIA’s commitment to continuous growth. Director/Chief Executive Officer Chathuri Munaweera addressed the gathering, outlining AIA Insurance Lanka’s strategic vision, business performance, and future aspirations. 

The awards segment recognised both individual and team excellence, celebrating outstanding performance and collective success across the organisation. At the pinnacle, nine exceptional individuals were honoured with the CEO’s Special Awards in recognition of their extraordinary contributions, while 217 award winners were celebrated through the AIA Essentials Team Award, highlighting strong collaboration and shared achievement. Top of the Table (TOT) and Court of the Table (COT) honours acknowledged elite performers, followed by MDRT recognition, celebrating Financial Planning Executives who demonstrated exceptional professionalism.  The closing remarks of the awards presentation reflected on the organisation’s shared journey of growth, while expressing appreciation for employees’ dedication and commitment to excellence.

The conference concluded on a high note with performances by AIA team members and leading musical artists, accompanied by multiple high-energy dance performances that added more colour to the evening.

AIA Sri Lanka’s Annual Company Conference this year stood as a powerful celebration of performance and teamwork, reaffirming the company’s purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives while recognising those who lead the way in this mission.
