AIA Sri Lanka Wealth Planners at President Club Summit
AIA Sri Lanka Wealth Planners recently earned the privilege to participate in the 2025 AIA President Club Convention, held in China and Mongolia.
The AIA President’s Club is the most prestigious and celebrated event hosted by the AIA Group. Its significance is further elevated by the participation of top-performing winners from across 18 countries within the AIA network, bringing together excellence, diversity, and shared purpose on a global stage.
This annual international summit, organised by the AIA Group and held in various countries around the world, hosted 293 invitees this year. AIA Sri Lanka was represented by 17 participants, marking the 13th consecutive year of participation. Among them were senior management members and top-performing wealth planners who achieved exceptional sales performance.
The Convention invites elite sales force members from the 18 countries where AIA operates. This year’s event was held over five days in Beijing, China, and Mongolia, featuring a variety of programs, including training sessions, award ceremonies, gala dinners, and sightseeing tours of iconic destinations in both Beijing and Mongolia.
The AIA Sri Lanka members who represented the company at this year’s AIA President Club celebration included: Sanjeewani Somarathna (Kandy ADO), Dileepa Ameendra (Matara and Tissamaharama ADO), W.A. Osaka (Tissamaharama ADO), S. Ranwatta (Colombo Regional Office 7-3 Tier), K. Piran (Kilinochchi Regional Office), Krishan Dassanayake (Panadura City ADO), Udaya Hiththatiyage (Matara ADO), Thuraj Aponsu (Colombo Regional Office No. 5), K.H. Hemanthika Wimalasena (Colombo Metro Office), Sirimal Peiris (Colombo Main Regional Office 3 – 3 tier), Sandali Fonseka (Kottawa BPO-1 Office), Yasantha Thalpawila (Malabe BPO-1 Office) and Indunil Amarasingha (Colombo Metro and Colombo R2 offices). Additionally, AIA Sri Lanka’s Director/Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer/Chief Agency Distribution Officer, and Chief Agency Officer were also invited to participate in the Summit alongside the team.
Participants had the opportunity to combine professional development and recognition with the vibrant experiences offered by two of the world’s most renowned cities, making it a truly special occasion.
