AIA Insurance Lanka Ltd., has strengthened its partnership distribution capabilities by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bank of Ceylon (BOC), to offer Decreasing Term Assurance (DTA) policy covers to BOC customers.
With this partnership, AIA Insurance Lanka is expanding its DTA operations to better fulfil evolving customer insurance requirements, particularly those linked to lending and long‑term financial commitments.
The MoU was signed recently by Bank of Ceylon Deputy General Manager – Branch Operations Priyal Silva and Assistant General Manager – Branch Operations, Manshala Withana Arachchi and AIA Insurance Lanka Director/CEO Chathuri Munaweera and Chief Partnership Distribution Officer, Senaka Rajapakse. Senior members of the management teams of both organisations were present at the signing, in view of the importance of the collaboration.
This partnership brings together the extensive reach and trusted legacy of the Bank of Ceylon with AIA Insurance Lanka’s expertise in life insurance and partnership distribution, while enabling BOC customers to access DTA policy covers seamlessly through the bank’s network, delivering timely, relevant protection that supports longterm financial security.
