Waters Edge launches Christmas with a Kiddies Candy Land

Waters Edge embarked Christmas, the season of peace, love, joy and hope with warm smiles and laughter of kids at the ‘Kiddies Christmas Candy Land’. Held on 7 December 2014 the Kiddies Christmas Candy Land was an immense success. The event consisted of every kid’s dream: a variety of food, candy and cake with activities, rides and games for all boys and girls. The highlight of the evening was indeed the arrival of Santa Claus; which was done with class and style by Waters Edge as the main man of the season arrived by sea plane. Ferris wheels, Zip lines and Bungee runs were tried out and enjoyed by

both the kids and grownups leaving the little ones a range of bouncers, carnival games and much more. Santa Claus was greeted with excitement and amusement by the kids as he stepped onto the lavish green of Waters Edge. Having been followed by over 500 kids Santa together with the distinguished heads of Waters Edge: General Manger Rohan Fernandopulle and Director Sales & Marketing Thilanka Muthukumara distributed ten thrilling prizes for the entrance draw; which consisted of a complementary birthday party at Waters Edge, a kid’s birthday cake and vouchers for the newest venture: Sri Lanka’s first drive-thru bakery. With a ‘Mint Lounge’ for all the moms and dads the kids happily strolled around the garden having a ball of a time. The evening ended with Santa Claus and his little elves distributing presents to all the kids and the lighting of the very unique ‘Water Christmas Tree’. Waters Edge delivered its promise by launching Christmas with every kid’s dream: the ‘Kiddies Christmas Candy Land’ was surely a memorable day for everyone who joined in the fun!
