Hercules to hit theatres today

Bringing to earth the story of gods, much awaited film ‘Hercules’ is set to screen in local cinemas today.

The American adventure film will be released at Majestic Platinum, Colombo, Empier-3D, Liberty Lite, Sky Lite 3D, Amity Lite 2D, Milano- Kegalle-2D and Arena Katugastotha-2D. The film is imported by Liberty Cinemas. Having endured his legendary twelve labors, Hercules, the Greek demigod, has his life as a sword-for-hire tested when the King of Thrace and his daughter seek his aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord. The movie being one of the two Hollywood studio films released in 2014 on the subject, Hercules, that is jointly distributed by Paramount Pictures and MGM is based on the graphic novel ‘Hercules: The Thracian Wars’. Directed by Brett Ratner, starring in the film are Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Joseph Fiennes and John Hurt.
