It’s another huge celebration of glitz, glitter and glam as Ramada Colombo presents Blast Thru 2014 at the Liberty Ballroom. With a season like never before, in keeping with the hotels dazzling new lobby and refreshed offerings, the merry mosaic of festive specials through the month of December all culminate in the biggest New Year’s Eve Party. Blast Thru has just been amplified to ring in the New Year!
Featuring two of the finest bands in the island, Gypsies and Pearl and compeered by Dushan Vas, this party promises to be a great bash once again.
Gypsies, a band incomparable in Sri Lanka are known for their rocking music and animated style up on stage, they are sure to keep you dancing through the night. With a fantastic line up of band members it’s still band leader Sunil Perera with his clever wit and flamboyant style who will get everyone in the crowd revelling in this party. And then there’s the ritual of a rollicking baila session in the Gypsies signature style to end the night.
Holding their own, the band Pearl with Jayantha and Victoreen De Silva on lead vocals will roll out a great repertoire of music from hits of the 70’s right up to the hottest chart toppers of today. By the time the New Year rings in with a champagne toast and a countdown second to none, this party will be in full swing!
The dinner buffet will be just awesome. Go west with a fine carvery, a selection of delicious Italian and more or stay closer to home with a choice of rich Indian or flavourful oriental dishes. Indulgent desserts give you the sugar high to keep you pumped and energised through the night.
