In…On the Green to ignite sound waves of Colombo

There is always something exciting to experience at the neighbourhood fun bar, In...On the Green, and now it is set to ignite the sound waves of Colombo with live music featured by Foreplay, Cold sweat and Freeze.

Taking you through an acoustic journey, ‘Foreplay’ is a three member band that has been in the music industry for a considerable amount of time and has a repertoire of a mix of different styles such as blues, contemporary and classic rock as well as hits ranging from the 70s to the 90s. Having performed together at the Urban Music Festival in 2013 for the very first time, Foreplay emerged as a modern contemporary band and is ready to revive your senses every Thursday starting from 7 May.

The band ‘Freeze’ consists of four talented musicians with a gift for entertaining the crowds. Having not forgotten the roots of Sri Lankan music, the band promises to take you back to the ‘summer of ‘69’ every Sunday night commencing from 10 May with a unique blend of music styles ranging from oldies, disco and to modern chart toppers to suit every mood.

We could now thank god that it’s Friday as ‘Coldsweat’ has lined up a genre of hits to echo through the city of Colombo from 15 May onward. The band consists of an acoustic trio that has built a reputation in the industry for being versatile by performing at various locations from its inception. The band’s influences range from legendary artists like The Beatles, Bon Jovi as well as current artists like Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, etc.
