A remarkable legacy of music, mentorship, and unwavering dedication will be celebrated on 24 April from 6:00 p.m. onwards at All Saints’ Church, Borella as past choristers come together to honour one of Sri Lanka’s most respected choral figures, Francis D’Almeida

Having devoted nearly six decades to the art of choral music, D’Almeida has shaped generations of voices across a wide range of schools in Sri Lanka. Revered not only as a choral director but also as a voice trainer, basketball coach, and mentor, he has guided thousands of students, many of whom continue to carry his teachings and influence into their personal and professional lives.

This tribute to his extraordinary contribution to music and education is organised by past choristers.

The Mass will serve as a reunion of voices, bringing together both past and present choristers in honour of a man whose passion for choral excellence has left an indelible mark on Sri Lanka’s choral music landscape. All past choristers and well-wishers are warmly invited to attend this special event.
