Fantasy action comedy ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ in Lankan cinemas

Fantasy heist action comedy film ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is now being shown in 12 cinemas countrywide in Sri Lanka.

They are LSC – Liberty by Scope Cinemas, LSK – Liberty By Scope Kiribathgoda, CCC – Colombo City Centre, PVR Cinemas, KCC – Kandy City Centre, Milano Diamond, Savoy Premiere – Rajagiriya, Majestic Superior – Colombo, Majestic Gold – Colombo, Regal Dematagoda, Regal Gampaha and Regal Bronze – Jaffna.

The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio from a story by Chris McKay and Gilio.

Based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, it is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and has no connections to the film trilogy released between 2000 and 2012. 

The film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant. The film received positive reviews from critics and has grossed over $ 73 million worldwide since its release last week.
