Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) and Access Solar Ltd., have entered into a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding availability solar energy solutions across Sri Lanka. The collaboration focuses on enabling households and enterprises to transition toward renewable energy through accessible solar loan facilities supported by HNB.
The partnership brings together the financial strength of HNB and the technical expertise of Access Solar Ltd., to support customers in the domestic, commercial, and industrial segments. The initiative is designed to strengthen the adoption of solar power systems across urban and regional communities while supporting long-term energy resilience.

Under the partnership, customers will benefit from tailored solar loan facilities with repayment periods extending up to seven years. Competitive interest structures aligned with selected tenors will provide structured repayment pathways that support investment planning for both households and businesses.
