St. Bridget’s Convent student Sukhithi Chamali ranks first at Colombo District GCE AL

Sanghapala Arachchige Sukhithi Chamali, of St. Bridget’s Convent Colombo has been ranked first in the Colombo District and third at All Island Level. Her z score was 2.9205. She has excelled obtaining 3 As for the subject combination of

Combined Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the Physical Science stream at the 2020 GCE Advanced Level Examination.

Sukhithi, the recipient of the Daphne Attygalle Scholarship Award for ‘Best Science Student of St. Bridget’s Convent’ in the year 2017, has been a regular prize winner at the annual school prizegiving, for her studies throughout her school years.

She also had shown her talents by taking part in all extra-curricular activities including badminton, chess, swimming, rifle shooting, athletics, Australian national chemistry quiz, Bible quiz, media, music and photography. 

She held the leadership positions of school Badminton Captain in the year 2017, President of Legion of Mary Society in 2017, Primary School Deputy Games Prefect in 2011 and Collegiate School Assistant Prefect of Borgia house in 2018. St. Bridget’s Convent Principal and the staff congratulate Sukhithi on her excellent performance at the Advanced Level Examination year 2020 and wish her success and God’s abundant blessings in all her future endeavours.
