What have you 

achieved from following the DBA program? 

The knowledge I gained from the DBA program enabled me to envision my career in a new light.  It uses a blend of theories and practices to enhance our abilities to manage all resources. The benefits of the DBA program are immense for both, the individual and organization. Some of the abilities I gained over the last couple of years after following the DBA program were strategy-based thinking, theoretical-based decisions-making, process innovations, research mindset etc.

What advice would you give to our readers? 

There were no other career development opportunities for industrialists beyond Postgraduate Degrees in Sri Lanka. They are now available because of the DBA program introduced by the University of Kelaniya.  Industrialists have the chance to obtain the highest qualification (SLQF 12). It enables them to work towards the sustainable growth of their industries. I urge all Industrialists, Senior Managers, Managers and Executives to pursue their educational goals by following the DBA program offered by a prestigious National University of Sri Lanka and serve the nation.
