For each nation to succeed, access to quality education for its children is necessary.

However, this ‘access to quality education’ is a key challenge for many of the developing  countries. Applying ICT as a medium GoGEE8 LLC is acting as an enabler to address the challenge.

Headquartered in Sharjah, UAE, GoGEE8 LLC wants to evangelise the education system, entice students to learn and thus cultivate infinite possibilities.

GoGEE8 is primarily emphasising the region of South and South-East Asia and Africa.

Their very first venture started with Bangladesh. Using the title “SchoolBari” they have started sharing knowledge through its YouTube channel and its user-friendly website. This online-based learning platform, which is free of cost, helps the students of classes four to twelve with their lessons. It is a very bold and revolutionary approach to the education system of Bangladesh.

In just 5 weeks of SchoolBari’s YouTube broadcast, they now have over 175,000 viewers, nearly with 1.5 million viewing minutes. This is a very promising start for an online education platform in Bangladesh.

While speaking with Daily FT, the Program Coordinator of Gogee8, Mahdi Rishad stated that “This platform is a practical approach to making the country digital. We have covered every chapter of every book from class 4 to 12. Individual teachers were especially being trained on how to approach each chapter with personal storytelling. SchoolBari has over 5500 video content which is worth 65,000 minutes in total. Definitely, it is the highest number not only in Bangladesh but also for any Bengali-speaking online learning platform. Our video contents are free & always will remain free.”

SchoolBari completely complements the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) of Bangladesh. To enhance the learning experience, make the contents easily understandable to students they have used 3D modelling, texturing and illustrations. Using this platform, students can access course material at their convenient time.

“SchoolBari” can also be a  great medium for students who feel the urge to study with a home tutor outside of school or who are unable to attend school. Keeping in view the socio-economic context of the country, the “SchoolBari” web and YouTube platform is opening a vast gateway to flourishing the future minds.

It hopes to see a paradigm shift in Bangladesh’s education system holding the hand of this sophisticated EduTech company GoGEE8.
