‘Marina Spread Batta’ introduced to market

Cherubium Lanka has introduced ‘Marina Spread Batta’, its newest product to the local market recently. 

Cherubium Lanka, a company within the NMK Holdings umbrella, is credited with launching around 40 safe and hygienic food products under the ‘Marina’ brand to the Sri Lankan and international markets. Marina Spread Batta is a completely safe and 100% hygienic food product free of toxic substances, under the ‘fat and oil’ category.

The launch of this latest product under the ‘Marina’ brand was held under the auspices of Cherubium Lanka Managing Director Manjula Narayana and Directress of the company Cherunika Narayana at the ‘Ape Gama’ premises. Parallel to the launch, a ceremony to appreciate the services of the Cherubium Lanka sales team and the annual awards ceremony were also held on a grand scale.

Speaking at the launch of the Marina Spread Batta, Narayana said: “Food products under the ‘Marina’ label have won the trust and confidence of local customers and have earned wide acceptance and appreciation on a scale superseding products of multinational companies. Moreover, as a 100% Sri Lankan company, Cherubium Lanka has penetrated markets in the Middle East and Europe. In this backdrop, we are confident that ‘Marina Spread Batta’ will also make a tremendous positive impact in the market and win the trust of local customers.”

Cherubium Lanka’s Chief of Marketing and Brands Denzil Perera said that Marina Spread Batta, which comes in 18 gram sachets, is enriched with Vitamin A, D & E and contains Omega 3. Speaking further on the new product, Perera said: “Unlike similar products in the market, Marina Spread Batta is completely free of any harmful substances. It is an absolutely safe product as the ingredients are 100% beneficial to the human body. With quality, goodness and freshness, Marina Spread Batta is hygienically packed in easy-to-use sachets which housewives will find useful and convenient to use. 

“The other plus point of the product is that it does not need refrigeration. Marina Spread Batta can be used not only as a fat spread, but also in the preparation of cakes and other delicious desserts and in day-to-day cooking. A sachet can be purchased for a nominal price of Rs. 15 each.”

All Marina food products are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology under globally acknowledged, guaranteed quality, hygienic and safety standards. It was because of this achievement that the manufacturing process of the company was awarded ISO-22000, HACCP and GMP international certifications.
