Tuesday at Sri Lanka’s premier five-star South Indian restaurant Chutneys is a rare treat for vegetarians. The buffet offers over forty dishes, whipped up by South Indian Chefs Venu and Krishna, with specialties from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This all-you- can-eat buffet is on from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., for Rs. 1,200 (plus taxes).
Savour the best of the tastes of Italy at Cinnamon Grand’s authentic Italian restaurant Echo, with its Infinity dinner buffet. A range of antipasti, a soup, five main dishes and desserts, are on offer so you can feast like Italians do! Thursdays are a treat for true epicures as the hotel’s fusion restaurant dishes out a sensory culinary voyage around the world, blending Asian and Western dishes, in an epic feast. Sit under a starry sky with al-fresco dining at its best and make your way through seven starters, three soups, seven main courses and seven desserts. The epicurean menu is available from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight, at the Tao, for Rs. 1,850 (plus taxes).
And if you make it to Friday, then no better to celebrate than at Breeze Bar, with Friday Breeze offering an impressive thirty two cocktails at half price, from 7 to 10 p.m. Sit by the cooling pool side and unwind with an evening drink or two as you welcome the start of the weekend.
Cinnamon Grand’s Shisha bar, by the poolside (open daily from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) is also a great way to complement you evening drink, or just chill with friends while enjoying some sundown snacks and the poolside breeze.
