During the month of November experience Long Feng’s newest addition “Chinese Bao (a type of steamed, filled bun with various fillings) and Siew Mai (open-topped steamed pork and/or shrimp dumplings made with a wheat flour wrapper, they often come topped with fish roe or grated carrot, or occasionally a single pea) as well as the steamed prawn, scallop or lobster dumplings amongst many others are the perfect seafood indulgence.
For those who prefer something meatier, the meat Dim sum is filled with a variety of steamed pork ribs, steamed chicken dumplings or a steamed mutton ball. Additionally Chef’s range of vegetarian options caters to every need with the delicious steamed vegetable bun and steamed vegetable dumpling.
The creativity of these delicate Chinese snacks is a treat for the eyes as well as the palette. The colourful dumplings are encased in bamboo baskets that highlight the beauty of the dish. The bamboo baskets are stylishly rolled out in a Dim Sum trolley complete with its own in built steamer ensuring the Dim Sum arrives at the table freshly steamed.
