The merriment of Christmas filled the air of ME Colombo as it held its annual Christmas cake mixing recently. 

General Manager Wayne De Silva joined the team including Front Office, F&B, Kitchen Brigade,

Housekeeping, Maintenance and IT to mix up the special ingredients.

As the countdown for the seasonal holidays begins, ME Colombo also relaunched some of its much-loved food and beverage promotions. 

The Weekend Lunch Buffet is held every Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 3pm at the MY Dining restaurant. Executive Chef Sanjeewa has created an international spread with dishes ranging from Italy, Mediterranean, Asian and Continental sure to tantalise your tastebuds. From salads to noodles, rice and pasta to three varieties of meat items to seafood and of course an amazing range of desserts, it is sure to leave you spoilt for choice.

One of the best loved venues at ME Colombo is the rooftop lounge MY Bar. Overlooking the amazing Colombo skyline, it’s the perfect “insta” spot for catching breathtaking sunsets while enjoying a perfect cocktail or cold brew. And it gets extra special, when those cocktails and brews are on Happy Hour and its ‘Buy 1 & Get 1 Free’ between 5-7 p.m. every Sunday to Thursday. Other special offers on beverages happen all day every day.

The very first ‘Extended Happy Hour’ kicks off every Friday and Saturday with the special BBQ and Mongolian Night.

The ‘Extended Happy Hour’ on Fridays begins when you order the sizzling BBQ Platter for Two that consists of steaks, chicken, lamb chop, seafood skewers, tuna, chicken sausages, buttered vegetables and herb roasted potatoes paired with your choice of sauce. On Saturdays, choose your flavours and ingredients (seafood, meat or both) and have the chefs toss up a delicious Mongolian rice or noodles from the pan to your plate and indulge in the ‘Extended Happy Hour’. The ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Happy Hour’ is available on selected cocktails/mocktails, spirits, cold brews and wine.
