SJMS Welfare and CSR Society distributes school essentials to destitute children

SJMS Welfare and CSR Society launched another CSR initiative – the distribution of school essentials to needy school children in Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Puthukudiyiruppu.

With the establishment of peace, the firm’s aim is to help brighten the educational path of innocent children who have been deprived of proper schooling in the past.

The distribution of school essentials comprised books, shoes, school bags and other school accessories to needy school children at Parakum Maha Vidyalaya Vavuniya, Gamini Maha Vidyalaya Vavuniya, Tharanikkulam Ganesh Vidyalayam Vavuniya, and Suthanthirapuram G T M School Suthanthirapuram Puthukudiyiruppu.

The excellent support extended by the DIG Vavuniya K.H. Jayaweera ,  Major General Jagath Wijethilaka Commander of the 68th Division of the Sri Lanka Army and Lt. Col. Ravi Herath of 5, Sri Lanka Signal Curpf. Suthanthirapuram Puthukudiyiruppu by way of organising the events greatly facilitated in the Society accomplishing this noble cause.
