People’s Bank donates essential medical supplies to Lady Ridgeway Hospital for children

People’s Bank, under the umbrella of its CSR program ‘Mahajana Mehewara’, recently donated essential medical supplies worth Rs. 5,000,000 to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Borella to coincide with the 61st anniversary of People’s Bank.

The donation was received by Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children Director Dr. G. Wijesooriya from People’s Bank Senior Deputy General Manager Payment, Digital and Process Management and Quality Assurance K.B. Rajapakse. 

The event was also attended by Senior Deputy General Manager TB & OCS Rohan Pathirage, Deputy General Manager Personal Banking Renuka Jayasinghe, Deputy General Manager Channel Management Mahinda Premanath, Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana, Borella Golden Jubilee Branch Manager Deepani Kalatuwawa, and Lady Ridgeway Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Santhushitha Senapathi. 

In commemoration of its 61st anniversary, People’s Bank earlier donated essential medical supplies worth over Rs. 5,000,000 to the Castle Street Hospital for Women in Borella.
