Pan Asia Bank, in partnership with Marketing Alumni Association of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, has proceeded with an inspiring initiative – ‘Bring a Smile 2025’, which focuses on supporting school children from rural communities. This year, the spotlight was on two schools—Demada Oya Primary School in Nalanda and Nikula Bibila Primary School—where hundreds of bright-eyed young learners awaited the start of a new academic year.
At Pan Asia Bank, we’ve always believed in the quiet power of kindness. In a world filled with challenges, sometimes all it takes is a small act of care to restore hope—and hope is exactly what we set out to deliver through ‘Bring a Smile 2025’.
This initiative is not about charity—it’s about dignity. It’s about bridging gaps in access, nurturing confidence, and planting seeds for a better tomorrow. Every pencil, every notebook handed out is a quiet but powerful message.
Director/CEO Naleen Edirisinghe said, “At Pan Asia Bank, we believe that true progress is measured not just in profits, but in the lives we touch. ‘Bring a Smile 2025’ is a reflection of our commitment to building a future where every child has the tools—and the confidence—to dream boldly”.
At Pan Asia Bank, our purpose extends beyond banking. We are a part of the communities we serve, and we are committed to walking alongside them—in moments of challenge and in moments of celebration.
