Pan Asia Bank recently handed over urgently needed medicines to the Apeksha Cancer Hospital as part of its CSR activities.

Bottles of FolinicIV and bottles of Pantoprazole IV were donated to Dr. Wasantha Rathnayake, Consultant Paediatric Oncologist at the cancer hospital’s Ward No. 15A. The donation was met with overwhelming gratitude as the nation is currently facing shortage of medicines as a result of the economic crisis. Identifying this urgent need, Team HR at Pan Asia Bank took swift measures to supply these medicines for the care of cancer patients.

Pan Asia Bank operates a winning Human Resource (HR) framework called ‘CARE’ which encompasses four pillars – Connect, Awareness, Reward, and Engagement – to engage and support the employee to the greatest extent possible.  Employee volunteerism forms a key component of how employees contribute to the wellbeing of society. Pan Asia Bank’s Team HR organises many such CSR activities to engage its employees in social causes to alleviate suffering.
