Ceylon Hardware Merchants Association contributes to post-Ditwah recovery

The Ceylon Hardware Merchants Association has made a financial contribution of Rs. 5 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, established to provide relief to communities affected by the Diṭwah cyclone.

Accordingly, the relevant cheque was formally handed over to the Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake by The Ceylon Hardware Merchants Association Chairman T. Amirthalingam, recently at the Presidential Secretariat. The event was also attended by Vice Chairman S. Shanmuganathan, Secretary H. M. Jayaweera and member K. Pathmanathan.
