CIC Agri provides smart classroom and drinking water to rural school

The CIC Agri Cluster teamed up to spearhead a couple of CSR initiatives that touched the hearts of rural students in Hingu-rakgoda and Polonnaruwa.

The Cluster, comprising CIC Agri businesses, CIC Seeds, CropGuard, Uni Power and the Crop Solutions Business Unit provided a smart classroom and clean drinking water to the Hingurakgoda Kanishta Vidyalaya. Apart from the led panel, UPS and surge protection unit, the classroom was refurbished with new furniture thereby accomplishing a complete CSR initiative.

The need for clean drinking water for the students of  Hingurakgoda Kanishta Vidyalaya was a long felt necessity which the Agri Cluster responded by providing the  RO Plant, 1,000 L storage tank, and  adequate drinking points (taps) .The smiles on the faces of the children that day showed their appreciation for this noble deed.

Sungavila Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Polonnaruwa was another recipient of clean drinking water from the Agri Cluster.
