Brandix brings better living for students and communities

Sri Lanka’s premier apparel manufacturer, Brandix, continues its legacy of care and empowering communities island wide, building 34 washrooms for students in Dehiovita and Andiambalama, and for associates in the Batticaloa area. These projects have touched the lives of over 900 students and individuals, improving access to safe and hygienic sanitation facilities.

Brandix constructed four girls’ washrooms at the Dehiovita Tamil Maha Vidyalaya, and another four at the Buddhist Primary School in Andiambalama. In addition, 26 prefabricated toilets were built at multiple locations in the Batticaloa area, supporting employees and their families -especially children - to have safe and dignified sanitation facilities at home, improving their quality of life.

Access to safe drinking water and sanitation are a key thrust of Brandix community engagement initiatives, and the company has empowered over 600,000 individuals through its initiatives all across the island. Its Model Village program provides clean drinking water and sanitation to schools, hospitals and public buildings in the areas in which it operates.
