Amãna Bank donates essential medicines to Puttalam Base Hospital

As part of its CSR initiatives and helping those affected by the socio-economic crisis, Amana Bank recently donated a stock of essential medicines to the Puttalam Base Hospital. This donation was given at a time when the country’s health care sector was crippling with shortage of medicine and surgical items, especially those treating critical illnesses. 

The medicines which included lifesaving injection vials were handed over to the Base Hospital to Dr. Ilanjaliyan (VP) and Sunith Fernando (Medical Superintendent) of Puttalam Based Hospital by Amana Bank’s Puttalam Branch Manager Anver Sadath. 

Appreciating Amana Bank’s goodwill gesture Dr. Ilanjaliyan said: “We are truly grateful for Amana Bank to make such a generous donations of essential medicines at a very crucial time and assist towards speedy recovery of the patients.”
