Zone24x7 wins Presidential Award for High Tech and Innovative Products

Zone24x7 won the Presidential Award for High Tech and Innovative Products at the Presidential Awards 2014/15. The ceremony was organised by the Export Development Board (EBD) and was held on 10 August at the BMICH. This award was presented to Zone24x7, in recognition of the contribution to the Sri Lankan export sector.

Zone24x7 won this award for both 2014 and 2015 establishing its dominant position as a leader in innovative product development for the global market.

Zone24x7 Inc. is a global end-to-end technology innovations company, established in 2003, and headquartered in Silicon Valley, California. The BOI approved Advanced Technology Center Zone24x7 Ltd. and the Research Center in University of Moratuwa are based in Sri Lanka. 

Zone24x7 Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary by Zone24x7 Inc. The company perceives leading edge Research and Development as a priority in serving areas of Innovation Services, Embedded Systems, Testing and Software Product Engineering.

Zone24x7 is founded by Llavan Fernando who is also the CEO of the company. Llavan is also an advisor to Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM). Over the past 10 years the company was subjected to numerous national and international acclaim. In 2013, Zone24x7 won the Silver Award for Research and Development at National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) and the Merit Award in Research and Development at Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) awards. 

Similarly in 2015, the company became the overall winner at NBQSA and won the Gold Award for Research and Development category. It became the overall winner in Research and Development at APICTA in the same year as well.
