Vehicle Imports Association SL enters Myanmar market

The Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka successfully entered the vehicle market in Myanmar which in turn has become a major source of foreign exchange for Sri Lanka, Vasana Trading Lanka Chairman/Director Indika Sampath Merignage said at a special meeting held recently.

He added that the association have also been able to successfully engage with the Government and gain many concessions for the vehicle importers.

Amongst those present at the occasion were Customs Director General Jagath Wijeweera, Motor traffic Commissioner S.H. Harischandra, imports and exports controller C.S.P. Seneratna and many senior officials.
