The Sri Lanka-Korea Economic Co-operation Committee (SLKECC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be planning a Trade and Investment Promotion Mission to Seoul & Busan, Korea from 21 to 26 November 2010 with the objective of promoting trade, investment, joint ventures, services and tourism between Sri Lanka and Korea.
The main objective of the Mission is to have an Investment seminar in Seoul and Busan and meet suitable contacts through one-to-one business meetings.
The business match making events has been organised with the assistance of The Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Busan; Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Korea; Trade – Investment Promotions Agency (KOTRA) Korea; and the Sri Lanka Embassy in Korea.
Identified potential sectors are: paper yarn & woven fabric of paper yarn, rubber products, apparel & clothing, precious and semi precious stones, coir products, software industry, automobile components, leather products, information & communication technology, tyre manufacture, processed foods, herbal cosmetics, tourism and services.
