Singapore’s Tenon extends operations to Sri Lanka

Singapore-based facilities management services provider Tenon extended its operations to Sri Lanka last week, with Tenon Property Services Lanka Ltd., the Sri Lankan subsidiary of Mortice Singapore, launched on 4 July in Colombo. The new office is situated at No. 40, Norris Canal Road, Colombo 10. With its timely venture into the local market, Tenon Sri Lanka’s primary focus would be to address and capitalise on the growing demand for facilities management services through outsourcing.

Mortice Ltd., which is the holding company of Tenon Property Services Private Limited (Tenon), was incorporated in Singapore and it has gained international recognition as a leading property service provider since its inception. This new venture with more than 16 years of experience in providing facilities management services internationally is equipped with resources to cater to a wide clientele in Sri Lanka with diverse requirements. Chairman Manjit Rajain stated that Tenon Sri Lanka has drawn plans to recruit more than 1,000 Sri Lankans within the first 12 months of its operations. Accordingly, high-end professionals as well as skilled and unskilled workers from Sri Lanka will be employed to facilitate the wide array of services that are on offer.
