Prince Charles made a visit to the recently opened Laksala Museum Gallery Cafe shortly after the inauguration of the 22nd Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Colombo. The Laksala Museum Gallery Cafe was selected as the venue for the royal reception by Buckingham Palace for the Prince of Wales to host the Commonwealth Business Leaders himself, soon after the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of States Summit 2013. Laksala Museum Gallery Cafe is gaining recognition as the most favoured venue for receptions of this nature and souvenir shopping among top dignitaries and royalty visiting Sri Lanka.
