PC Pharma launches RED to fuel fast paced lifestyles

PC Pharma, the pharmaceutical subsidiary of PCH Holdings Limited, has launched RED (Revitalising Exertion Drink) an energy drink with natural core ingredients for health conscious consumers looking to invigorate their daily life, be it in work or studies.

This product will be another milestone for PC Pharma after the launch of Celia, their increasingly popular infant food line, in their diversification process aimed at entering the FMCG category.

Speaking at the introduction of RED to the local market, PC Pharma General Manager Dilshard Ikram stated, “There are so many energy drinks in the market today, and so many cheap imitations of the leading brands being marketed everywhere. We want to offer consumers a safe, more natural alternative with RED. Here in we offer an energy drink backed by a definitive corporate entity that consumers can depend on, and find confidence in.”

RED differs from its main competitor products in that it contains a more natural formulation, predominantly fruit extracts, and Korean ginseng –which is credited to be of the highest quality found in its kind – that can avert many of the harmful side effects that can arise from the artificial colours and ingredients seen in other energy drinks. It also contains no trans-fats which can cause indigestion, and have other negative side effects, and provides energy predominantly through fructose.
