Orient Garments CEO quits

Orient Garments Plc said yesterday its Director/CEO Saliya Perera has resigned with effect from 30 June. No reasons were given for the resignation in the company’s filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange. He first appointed as CEO in January this year after being made an Executive Director. Perera is a double-qualified Chartered Accountant and also a Graduate in Business Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has over 18 years of experience in working in different industries such as telecommunications, apparels and construction and engineering.
