At the tea auctions concluded last week, an invoice of Magedara OP1 achieved an all-time Colombo Tea Auction record price of Rs. 940 per kg. This tea was purchased by Classic Teas Ltd., a buyer of top quality low grown teas and was sold through the catalogue of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd.
