LAUGFS Eco Sri conducts emission testing on nearly 15,000 army vehicles

LAUGFS Eco Sri, which has consistently worked towards reducing air pollution in Sri Lanka, carried out emission testing on nearly 15,000 vehicles belonging to Sri Lanka Army recently.

The program took place at a LAUGFS Eco Sri centre in Bellantota and was attended by Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, LAUGFS Holdings Limited Chairman, W.K.H. Wegapitiya, LAUGFS Eco Sri Chief Executive Officer Damayantha Wijesiriwardena and other distinguished invitees. The Department of Motor Traffic of Sri Lanka administers a mandatory vehicle emissions testing and repair program with LAUGFS Eco Sri to ensure a cleaner and healthier

environment. Through this LAUGFS Eco Sri also highlights the importance of maintaining vehicle performance to lower emissions and extend the life of a vehicle. The company uses new testing technology with state-of-the-art equipment and customer service measures that increase the effectiveness of emissions testing and shorten the time customers spend in the emission testing process.
