Lanka Sathosa 284th branch opened in Gampola

Lanka Sathosa Limited has further expanded their network of sales outlets by opening 284th Sales Outlet in Gampola Town under the patronage of Mrs.Anula Yapa Jayarathna.

The Sales outlet was opened under the government’s program to sell goods at concessionary prices. Essential food items, vegetables and stationery are among the goods available for sale in this new shop. Lanka Sathosa Central Province Regional Manager Lalith Mullegama, Branch Manager Saliya Athauda, Central Provincial Council Member Nishshanka Herath, Udapalatha Divisional Secretariat Nimal Balasooriya were also present at this occasion.

Lanka Sathosa was formed in 2005 as a concept spelt out in the Mahinda Chintanaya. The objective of Lanka Sathosa is to provide essential food items at an affordable price which will benefit the low income group,
