Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute officially part of COSATT

Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute (LKIIRSS) Executive Director Asanga Abeyagoonasekera participated at the recent meeting of the Fifth Regional Dialogue organised by the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT). This three-day meeting took place on 11-13 April 2014 in Singapore. Co-organised by the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), this third dialogue focused on the theme, ‘South Asia 2025: Taking it to the Next Level’. The dialogue brought together representatives from some of the leading think tanks in South Asia. The Kadirgamar Institute is now officially part of the COSATT network which includes some of the most important think-tanks in South Asia. The Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS) set up the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) in January 2008 with the objective of bringing together some of the leading think tanks in South Asia to foster cooperation in the region
