Kishu Gomes shares leadership experience with senior Parliamentary staff

Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC MD/CEO Kishu Gomes was invited to speak to the senior leaders and functional heads of the Parliamentary staff titled ‘Modern-day leadership demands for optimum results thru team work’. The ‘Seminar on capacity building for parliamentary secretariat’, held at the Citrus Hotel Wadduwa on 3 March funded by USAID was to improve the functioning of the parliament through a three-day capacity development program for three different levels of staff. 

Day 3 dedicated to the senior leaders, where Gomes addressed the first session was inaugurated by Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya. Following the Speaker’s speech, the Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dassanayake outlined the objectives and set the expectations around the desired transformation needed for the Parliament staff to be of greater value to all its stakeholders by honouring the obligations fully with the acquisition of modern, creative and efficient leadership techniques and best practices on team work drawn from the resource persons.
