JAT Holdings was awarded the Merit Award for Manufacturing (Large Category) at the “All Island CNCI Achiever Awards 2014” which was recently held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.
Awards were presented under several business categories namely micro, small, medium, large and extra-large, for a range of diverse industries at both a provincial as well as national level.
“Since our inception 21 years ago, JAT has come a long way, and winning this award is indeed a fitting recognition of the journey we have traversed and our many accomplishments,” JAT Holdings Managing Director Aelian Gunawardene said.
JAT Holdings Ltd, founded in 1993 with the primary objective of providing total timber coating solutions to the Sri Lankan furniture industry, follows the credo “Get the Right Finish First”, thus communicating to the consumer the necessity of how important the right finish really is to the end result. Consequent to successfully establishing themselves in the timber coating market, the company expanded its product offering to include a more comprehensive range of products for a wider range of surfaces and construction needs. Their current product portfolio includes decorative, domestic and industrial Emulsion paints, Elastomeric and Enamel paints, Epoxy floor paints, fillers, maintainers, anticorrosive paints and road marking paints, in addition to putties and plasters, ceilings, flooring, furniture, seating and desking, brushes, hardware fittings and accessories. Continuing its successful journey, JAT has now ventured beyond borders, signing agreements with corporate entities in the region as well.
