Building the new brand identity for Gestetner involved discussions at various levels of the management team as well as the sales and marketing staff. The new corporate logo designed by the creative team led by Michel Nugawela of Michel Nugawela Brand Consultancy sports a cutting-edge look in vibrant shades of red and blue. The clean circular ‘G’ signifies the flow of end-to-end solutions offered by the company, culminating in a smart arrow indicating the growth envisioned.
The origins of Gestetner becoming a household name can be traced back to the era of stencil duplication to create multiple documents, as Gestetner of Ceylon PLC Chairman S.J.M. Anzar recollected.
A token of appreciation was presented to Michel Nugawela by the Board of Directors of Gestetner of Ceylon PLC acknowledging the creative input in establishing their futuristic brand identity. The event wrapped up with a photo-op for the Board of Directors and the Sales and Marketing team of Gestetner with the new logo exhibited on a digital screen.
