The Vijitha Walpola Foundation of Asgiri Maha Viharaya, Kandy, recently presented the Chairman of Nikado Company Limited, A.A. Sunil Gunawardene, with ‘Desha Bandu’, Desha Shakthi’, Desha Keerthi’ and ‘Lanka Puthra’ honorary titles for his yeoman services to the country and nation. Nikado Company is a 100% Sri Lankan organisation that has manufactured rice based convenient foods for over 40 years.
